Johnny Eblen‘s Bellator middleweight title defense against Fabian Edwards has been added to PFL’s pay-per-view card on Oct. 19, headlined by Francis Ngannou‘s promotional debut against Renan Ferreira, the promotion announced Tuesday.

The fight is a rematch of their Sept. 23, 2023, fight that saw Eblen (15-0) successfully defend the title with a third-round knockout of Edwards. A return bout was originally set for Sept. 14 in London but was scratched. It is now added to a loaded lineup featuring Cris Cyborg vs. Larissa Pacheco, AJ McKee vs. Paul Hughes and the aforementioned heavyweight superfight between Ngannou and 2023 PFL heavyweight winner Ferreira.

The fight will be Eblen’s third title defense since beating Gegard Mousasi for the 185-pound crown in 2022.

Edwards (13-3), brother of former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards, followed the loss to Eblen with a unanimous decision victory over Aaron Jeffery to earn another shot at the title.

“Battle of the Giants: Brace for Impact” takes place Oct. 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
