UFC men’s flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja goes for his third title defense, as he takes on former two-time Rizin bantamweight champion Kai Asakura in the main event at UFC 310 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Pantoja, who beat Brandon Moreno at UFC 290 to claim the title, is riding a six-fight winning streak, dating back to February 2021. Asakura is making his debut in the Octagon after competing in Rizin for the last eight years.
The co-main event is also an important fight to set the landscape for 2025, as rising welterweight title contenders Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Machado Garry go head-to-head in what could be the No. 1 contender. Also on the card, former interim UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane returns to the Octagon to face Alexander Volkov.
