Pep Guardiola has said that Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker is keen to explore a move away from the club to a new team abroad.
Walker was not named in City’s squad for their 8-0 demolition of Salford City in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
Asked about Walker’s omission, Guardiola told a news conference: “Well, two days ago Kyle asked to explore the options to play abroad and end his career.”
